Cloisonne vase with all over design of scrolls, stylised flowers, leaves, butterflies. Background is black with scrolls, flowers are red, yellow, pink, two shades of blue, two shades of green. Outlines are gold, base is gold.

The "Ammoniaphone" was developed by Dr. Carter Moffat in 1870 as an instrument to replicate the fresh Italian air and its qualities that seemed to assist with Italian vocalists. The Ammoniaphone was filled at both ends with a mixture of ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and peppermint oil, and the user inhaled the chemicals from the small tube in the centre. According to Dr. Moffatt, the Ammoniaphone was benefical to public speakers, Parliamentarians, vocalists, as well as assisting with bronchitis and consumption.

Important to the collection due to its rarity and historical significance, as well as medical research capability.

A long metal tube into which ammonia, hydrogen peroxide and peppermint oil were placed. The user inhaled the chemicals through the small tube in the centre of the object. It was thought to improve the voice through the inhalation of "artificial Italian air". Comes with the original box and instruction booklet.

Building block set used by Enid Wall as a young child

Building block set of fifteen (15) blocks in original box without lid. Each block has images of domestic and wild animals, alphabet and numbers. Blocks appear to be made from balsa wood or equivalent due to light weight, and images have been adhered. Flowers motif wall paper (very worn) adhered to the sides of the box.

Item found at Enid Walls estate

Hand held wooden-handled metal object. Object movement/use is similar to an egg beater. Has a rubber ball bevelled into metal base which is attached onto the side with a slender metal arm.

Stamp on object proper left "PAT.B 99365". Object proper right middle metal part has hand written inscription of a name which appears to be "Harvey". Top metal disk has the inscription "VEEDEE"/The Veedee Co./96 Southwark Street/London.S
