The University Archives provides secure and environmentally controlled storage for records requiring indefinite or long term retention. The Records Services Unit coordinates the transfer of records into a secure and environmentally controlled storage facility by using the CAVAL Archival & Research Material (CARM) Centre situated on the Bundoora Campus. Efficient and effective storage of records is achieved by using and adhering to procedures and guidelines prepared by the Records Services Unit. Collectively, records held in storage form an important information source for the University.
