Our museum is now housed in a World War 2 Bunker located 4.5 kilometres from the centre of Mallacoota on Betka Road, Lot 8. The bunker was handed over to the Society by the RSL.
Our collection
The collection housed at the bunker includes local data related to service in Mallacoota when the bunker was part of Australia's World War 2 defensive system. There are items of local history such aspects of the fishing industry, whaling and pioneering enterprises and archival material gathered over the years since the Society's founding in 1974 . There are also many other pertinent artefacts.
