The Wimmera Regional Library Corporation is situated in the northwest of Victoria. It covers an area of approximately 42,000 sq. kms. and serves six local government bodies - Buloke Shire Council, Hindmarsh Shire Council, Horsham Rural City Council, Northern Grampians Shire Council, West Wimmera Shire Council and Yarriambiack Shire Council. The Shires have a combined population of approximately 52,000. The Library operates 11 static branches and one mobile library.
Our collection
The collection comprises approximately 132,500 items including books, magazines, DVDs, talking books, music CDs, online resources, and local history, with access to over 3 million titles as part of the Swift consortia.
