The article is titled: Farewell to Mr. and Mrs. J. Waugh and family and it describe an evening at the Laanecoorie hall where the family was presented with gifts from the Laanercoorie for the standing in the community. Mr. John Waugh received a gold chain with an inscribed medal, Mrs. Waugh received a coffee service, miss Nora Waugh received a gold pendant and Tom Waugh a shaving outfit.newspaper -
