From the labels and note this is a film of a Fashion Parade held by Legacy for fund-raising purposes. It was recorded by the Australian Broadcasting Commission (ABC) and the film given to Legacy. The full details are not known except it was held on 24 July 1967 as this film has not been watched. Melbourne Legacy has held many events through the years including gala performances of films and gown of the year events in the 1950s.A record that Legacy held many events over the years to promote Legacy, to fundraise or to showcase the organisation (such as in the Annual Demonstrations). Folder 1 contents: Vol.1 No.1 1967 - Vol.4 No.9 1972; Folder 2 contents: Vol.5 1973 - Vol.15 1985; Folder 3 contents: Vol.15 1985 - Vol.21 1995; Folder 4 contents: Vol.22 1994 - Vol.29 2003. There is no journal for 2004. In August 2005, name is changed to "The Berger"; in Sept 2011 another name change to "The Heidelberger". Incomplete set of later editions. Two articles that relate to the annual demonstration in 1977. The demonstration was called 'Legacy on Parade' for a number of years. The junior legatees were dressed in costumes, for the production of 'My Fair Lady'. They were Leanne Johnston and Terri Cott in long dressed, and Roseanne Whitehead as Eliza Doolittle and John Fiedler as her father Alfred. The articles were cut from the newspaper and pasted into a scrapbook. For many years Legacy kept scrapbooks of press clippings that related to their work and publicity.
