The Annual General Meetings are the official report of the VSDC to the public. These are the supporting documents that go with the Annual General Meeting report and provide further information on the Administration of the VSDC The brown foolscap size book is made with cardboard covers and masking tape spine and contains the documents tabled at the Annual General Meetings from 1964-1970. Documents include: nomination letters, speakers notes, agendas, etc. Corrections are handwritten. A programme for a Legacy Demonstration at the Melbourne Town Hall on Saturday 16th August 1975. Throughout the year Melbourne Legacy provided classes for Junior Legatees such as dancing, gymnastics and eurythmics, the Demonstration was an annual event to showcase their skills. Melbourne Legacy conducted Annual Demonstrations / Parades from 1928 through to the 1980's, usually held at Melbourne Town Hall or Olympic Pool Stadium. A cutting from from a Melbourne Legacy President's report showing a photo of Legatee George Blackwood (President of Melbourne Legacy in 1975). It was collected to be a record of a photo of past presidents. In World War 2 Legatee Blackwood served in the AIF in the Middle East, New Guinea and Borneo in the Corps of the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and was awarded an OBE for services whilst commanding the 2/1 Army Field Workshop with the 9th Australian Division in the Alamein Campaign. He achieved the rank of Colonel. He joined Legacy in 1964 on the nomination of Legatees John Summerton and AN Fraser. The article was part of an album of past presidents from 1965 to 1989. The folder included biographical details and obituaries, eulogies and death notices of prominent Legatees. A Legacy ceremony at the Shrine of Remembrance. One of the annual "Anzac Commemoration Ceremony for Students" events, usually held just prior to ANZAC Day. The ceremony provides a valuable opportunity for students to gain an appreciation of the Anzac spirit, the significance of the Shrine and the meaning of Anzac Day. It is a photo of the children with floral wreaths on the steps of the Shrine in 1970. Item was in an envelope with other photos and programmes from different School Student ceremonies.
