Police and other officials will prevent stripping by souvenir hunters. Colour photograph of TMSV tour photo for the 60th anniversary of electric trams in Ballarat in August 1965. Photo of Ballarat No. 18 photographed alongside MMTB AEC Regal Mk III bus, No. 543 (42 seats) (Reg. No. HJG 543). No. 18 has a specially painted board over the front of the tram "60th Anniversary / Electric Trams / 1905 Ballarat 1965". Standing between the tram and Bus are Les Denmead, D. Irvine, J. Dowd and T. Young. Both vehicles showing "Special" and standing on Ballarat depot fan. Photo also appears in "MMTB News", Oct - Nov. 1965, Reg. Item 2719.7. Yields information about a system of tram passes that were provided to the City of Ballarat Councillors in 1960 and has a strong association with the Councillors himself.Stamped brass badge or pass for free travel on the Ballarat Tramways for the year 1906. Stamped to give the words "Ballarat Electric Trams 1906" on the outer edge of the Badge and then stamped out to give the letters 'B E T" on the inside of the badge. On the top of the badge, a hole has been provided and a steel ring fitted. On the rear of the badge has the letters "CR. T. J. Hoare" stamped on the top of the badge and on the bottom the manufacturer's name "Stokes" in a reverse stamp. Indicates badge issued to the Councillor for the year 1906.
