These wooden batons were used by a local girls gymnastic group in the Korumburra area in the early 1900's. Used in a similar fashion to a band leaders baton, they were twirled in each hand and in unison usually to music.3062.2 - Two turned wooden batons, teardrop shape with long handles finished with a balled end. It is made from polished fiddleback, Blackwood and sassafras, and studded with ornamental metalwork.This item is aesthetically significant, as it is an example of Arts and Crafts movement, 1880's Hand made Picture Frame, made by Local Korumburra, Carpenter and Builder Mr. Dan Jarvis. As a Builder, this item was made as a hobby item which showed his Excellent skills with minute craftsmanship. It was selected, and featured as item 233, in Murray Walkers catalog, Colonial Crafts of Victoria, published in 1978, for the Exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, November 1978 to January 1979.

A double hinged photo frame, brass and glass. Features photo of a small child sitting in a pram and a slightly older child holding the side of the pram. Circa approx. 1800's. Second photo in the frame is of four females sitting in front of a garden backdrop. Three of the females are quite young, the fourth is possibly the mother, all are dressed in white.

K class locos were first built in the 1920's This one was built in 1941 and was the 20th loco to be built. It entered service on the 28th/7/1941 and was withdrawn from service on the 1/10/1970. It is believed to have travelled a total of 421,708 miles or 674,733 km during its 29 year working life.This is a K class steam locomotive, No. 169. Wheel configuration: 2-8-0, gauge: 5'3" (1600mm) The K 169 was the 20th (of 53) to be built. It is black in colour with red pin stripping down the side.K169 in white lettering on the sides and the front.
