After Nunawading Council rejecting Club 25's appeal for a planning permit for a brothel in Mitcham. Owner of the brothel, Bruce Roberts, has appealed to the Planning Appeals Tribunal and his appeal is to be heard 20 September. Bruce Roberts, owner of brothel in Thornton Cres. Mitcham told the tribunal he was aware that opening the brothel without a permit was illegal. Council had rejected the application. Council had received a petition signed by 1,112 people. Dr Joseph Santamaria told the tribunal that brothels increase the likelihood of AIDS in the community. Tribunal decision is still awaited. Both newsletter contain brief history of the church and lists of people and businesses that advertised in Tara Light. For both copies, there is a picture of the church exterior on the front page. The second document is an order of service for an Inter Church advent service at St Patrick’s Catholic Church. The particular service was done on 17/12/1987. The pamphlet features a detailed description of the architectural features of the interior and exterior, including Gothic spire and nuns tubrine. The pamphlet is across 6 A4 pages for both copies.
