Gus Gervasoni's grandfather, Luigi Gervasoni, was born in San Gallo, Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy and joined his brothers in Australia in 1863. Parma House was bult by Italian born Fabrizio Crippa. It was restored from a burnt wreck to Villa Parma by Richard Rigby and Franchek. Walls were scraped back to the original, and burnt umber detailing added. Robin Boyd was appointed Exhibits Architect for the Australian Pavilion at Expo ‘67 in Montreal.
