Significant in being a roster rotation sheet for Bendigo that used a different method of advising crews of the system of tables and weeks. Shows how the system was used. Given date, may have been the last one issued.Printed form titled "Tramways - Motormen/Conductors Rotation Roster - Bendigo" for Bendigo Tramways. Duplicated foolscap size paper, giving roster for motormen and conductors AM and PM rosters. Duplicated form in black ink with a red line drawing to split the AM and PM rosters and two tables on Monday underline. Gives details of the run, tables for each day of the week and shows Spare Tables. Headed "Northern Electricity Supply Branch" Five copies held. Printed by wax cut stencil or Gestetner method. Details the run number that an employee would do for a particular week and day of the week. Gives the run number order of the tramcars out of the depot, the time out and the number of miles for the day (would have other runs within it), for Weekdays, Saturday and Sundays. An ESCo era timetable. Two local businesses have advertised as well.Folded printed card, off white, titled "Ballarat Tramways Rubicon Street and Sebastopol Time Table." Gives details of trams from the City for Rubicon St and Sebastopol for the various days and inbound trams from Rubicon, indicating that trams ex Sebastopol ran 10 minutes earlier. Has various notes on the timetable. On Front of card, has advertisements for R. Hutchinson - 29 Armstrong St Ballarat, auto electrician and Suttons Ltd - Musical instruments - Corner Sturt and Dawson Streets. Significant in being a sheet regarding tramcar braking systems and how considered at the time - 1950. No mention of sand in braking technique.Was contained within Reg Item 3519 in which located in the filing cabinet 8/2006. Small typed carbon copy instruction or "Notice to All Traffic Staff" titled "Braking", discussing the names of emergency brake. Notes air braked trams have on emergency brake only - the air brake. Stopping trams electrically is not regarded as brake equipment, and should not be used unless air brake is defective. Dated 24/11/1950. Demonstrates ticketing systems in Ballarat and in particular the use of a tourist ticket to enable people to travel around the whole of Ballarat on the trams. Yields information about the ticketting system and how surplus stocks were overprinted for future use. The same ticket stock could be used in all three of the SEC provincial tramways.Set of four SECV - Ballarat Tourist Tickets - 1/- on light weight card, light manilla colour - printed originally for the years 1944, 1945 and 1946, overprinted in red ink for 1947, 1948 and 1949. See Reg. item 499 for another example of the original ticket and Reg Item 2108 for another set of four tickets. Printed in black ink/ Ticket Numbers BA202592, 93, 94 and 95 in body of ticket. Static number (1 - 7) on left and right indicate when validated, the route used on.
