Set of seven Agfa colour slide, blue and white plastic mount, photo by Keith Caldwell of a track deviation during the construction of the Alexandria Avenue underpass at the north end of St Kilda Road. Shows the deviation, temporary track ("on the fly), overhead works and after the bridge has been completed, the permanent track brought into use.. All have the Arts Centre in the background. Black and white photograph of W2 488 east bound in Victoria Parade with the destination of Kew Post Office. The tram was built in Feb. 1928 and fitted with route number boxes in 4/1930. The Victoria Parade line was opened to electric trams on 15/9/1929, dating the photo to a short period of time, early 1930s. Photograph of SW6 850 (Route 77) at the Prahran terminus, Chapel St and Brighton Road, probably soon after its construction and entry into traffic on 31-3-1939, although the roof appears weathered. The tram has a sign promoting off peak travel, dash canopy lights and a tail light. In the background are the shops at this location.
