A light blue document titled "Bendigo Teachers' College 1954". Also on the front cover is a list of the staff working at the college at that time. On the inside cover is the "Significance of the Graduation Ceremony" and "Order of the Ceremony". Mr. F. M. Courtis gave a welcome to visitors whilst the Principal gave the college charge to the graduands. The 'Graduation Book' was presented to Mr. E. C. Krieger Inspector of Schools by Miss J. C. Burnett. The final call for 1954 of the graduands was called by Mr. F. G. East. Finally the Occasional Address was given by Mr. O. C. Phillips Chief Inspector of Primary Schools. The following page contains a list of the graduands and on the back cover is the "Principal's Charge to the Graduands". The donor is a descendant of Henry Bayles Ford, who was the light house keeper at Cape Otway for thirty years (1838-1878). Bayles' wife, Mary Ann had been governess for the Latrobe family. The original tea set was a gift to their daughter Agatha,, and the remaining cup and saucer has been passed down to her descendants.Porcelain cup and saucer, originally part of a tea set. Blue band on cup and edge of saucer. Cup rests on three feet. Grape vine motifs (colour) on cup, gold decoration on cup and saucer.1407 stamped on bottom of cup. A memorial was erected in Morwell to honour Legacy Founder Sir Stanley Savige. It was unveiled on 16 April 2010 and Legatee Bill Rogers was invited to attend. The event was to unveil a bronze plaque depicting both the work of Legacy and the achievements of Stanley Savige. Advance Morwell played a leading role in the memorial project, supported by members of the planning group and Latrobe City Council. The plaque and the naming of Legacy Place completes the final stage of the Savige Memorial Project that commenced with the erection of a bronze bust of Stanley Savige in 2006.
