The golf tournament evolved from the P'boro Power Boat Race. The tournament is still a big event on the Peterborough Golf Club calendar. The Cup records the winners of the actual boat race, including the name of the winning boat and the skipper from 1949 to 1962. The first two photographs are of the Marlo Picture Theatre which used to be next to the general store.It was a cream coloured timber building with steps leading to a door. There are large poster type paintings on the outside walls. In about 1930, the Ozone Picture Theatre was constructed, serving as a hall and venue for entertainment. In 1925 Walter Rice built a general store in Marlo and in 1930 built the "Ozone Picture Theatre". The third photograph is of the Snowy River Store, a Budget Rite Store. Jack Unmade and his son, Brad ran the store in the 1990s and had a caravan behind the store.This is a pictorial record of a community building no longer standing.Three panoramic format coloured photographs.

Wally Ives was a fruiterer who had a shop in Union Road. He was an active participant in the Empire Day parades of the 1930s. The donor Jean Boucher was the daughter of Wally Ives. She was an early active member of the History Nook at the Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre and member of the Surrey Hills Historical Society. The Oakland Motor Car Company was based in Pontiac, Michigan and was a division of General Motors. Although it was purchased by General Motors in 1909, the company continued to produce modestly priced automobiles until 1931 when the brand was dropped in favour of the division's Pontiac make. It is an account of Savige's life, his war service and his role in Legacy. Legatee Armstrong was a good friend of Savige. The moving address described General Savige's life and service career, and how he formed Legacy in 1923 at the suggestion of his former Commander, Major General Sir John Gellibrand. He said at the time of his death the late General had been a member of Legacy for 30 years, and had been chosen to represent Legacy at the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth. Following the Second World War he held many important posts, one of the most notable being Co-ordinator of Demobilisation. A notice of a charity ball that was being held for Legacy. It mentions that the bars open at 9, supper served at 11, and a hot buffet at 12.30am. A newspaper article on Trove describes the attendees and their fashion. Another article mentions that the ball raised £453 for Legacy. Charity balls were held with the proceeds from the evening going to aid Melbourne Legacy. The ball was held under the patronage of 'His Excellency the Administrator of the Commonwealth of Australia, General Sir Dallas Brooks.' The ruined bluestone building was the former Bulla Post Office and general store which was gutted by fire in1989.
