Wendy LOWENSTEIN donated these in 1998 to the Society after storing them since the early 1980s. In 1990 City Librarian Wendy MORRIS commissioned Pat GRAINGER to co-ordinate a State and Council funded oral history project, the final product of which was a book printed in time for the 1992 Port Melbourne Festival. An eyewitness account of the Eureka Stockade as told by Italian patriot, Raffaello Carboni. The book was written one year after the Stockade took place.
