Set of 12 views of Ballarat printed with six photos on either side of a folded strip of paper contained within a heavy brown paper folder. Published by the Rose Stereograph Co. of Armadale Vic., titled "Rose Series Picturesque Views of Ballarat Australia". Front cover has address area, stamp position, a drawing of roses and publishers details. 1. "The Town Hall and Sturt St. " with two trams eastbound in Sturt St. The first tram is a Sebastopol type tramcar. (see image 4) 2. "Eureka Memorial" 3. "The Conservatory" 4. Demonstrates the Museum's ticketing systems and ongoing production of tickets.Block of 200 tickets - black ink on off white paper, denomination 10c, lettered A 177800 to A 177999, headed Ballarat Tourist Tramway. The 200 tickets have been stapled onto a heavy cardboard back with a heavy metal staple. The tickets are in the style of the former State Electricity Commission of Victoria tramway tickets. Tickets in use as child return tickets from 24/12/1975 to 1/11/75 and as child single tickets in 1/11/75 to 30/6/78. See BTM Fare Chart. Cover - cloth texture laminated paper cover, dark red on outside, with embossed title and publishing details and Westinghouse logo embossed on rear cover. Forty printed pages sewn at three points into cover with page 41, tipped onto right hand edge of page 40, with a blind perforated strip to enable the sheet to be used as an Enquiry form to obtain a price regarding tram brake equipment. Significant for shows the form and method of issuing a certificate of service for a specific person, his duties, and performance. Signed by the person who received the form. Shows that the person was retrenched by the SEC prior to final closure of the tramways.Single sheet of off white or light grey paper, titled "Certificate of Service" prepared by the State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SEC) for 'Dallas John Everett". Pre printed certificate form "FMI 5-190 R2". Occupation given as "Driver/Conductor, Tramways" for the period from 19/9/1967 to 3/8/1971. Gave conduct and ability as "Satisfactory" and reason for leaving "Retrenchment". Issued on 5/8/1971 by Personnel Superintendent. Has D. J. Everett's signature on left hand margin. Shows how the crews were organised and how the system worked for a whole year.Single sheet of off white duplicating paper titled "Rotation Roster 3/70". Printed by wax cut stencil or Gestetner method. Details the run number that an employee would do for a particular week and day of the week and the total hours mins worked that week. Has "LJD / 3/70", showing that Les Denmead authorised the roster. Was part of D. J. Everett papers. See also Reg. Printed using a colour bubble jet printer on plain A4 paper. Three copies held. Murdoch, General Manager of the TB Melbourne regarding a subject that Mr. Murdoch could help with. 1975.1 - Letter from Mr. Pringle to Mr. Murdoch apologising he did not call in, too busy. Letter dated 14/9/1928, received by the TB 15/9/1928. Block of 41 No. 3d Parcel check tickets. Was originally a block of 50 two part printed tickets, using red ink on 60 gsm gold paper with the top half part having a part gummed back, stapled with a single staple at the top onto a brown cardboard sheet. The ticket butt has the form number "TYE 2-9". The top portion was to be affixed to the parcel to be carried. It has the name of the organisations (SECV), "Parcel Check 3d", conditions of carriage and ticket number, prefixed with the letter Ba. The first nine tickets have been removed or used. The lower portion was retained by the sender, was to be initialled by the conductor, "Parcel Check 3d", conditions of use, ticket number and a space where to be initialled by the conductor. Lower portions not on block are 8659 to 8564, though 8561 present loose. Tickets in full book numbered on both portions from Ba008650 to Ba008699. Copy of "Plaint Summons No. 39" lodged at the County Court, Ballarat May 1901, titled "Nankervis vs The Ballaarat Tramway Company Limited." Cost claimed was L100 (100 Pounds). Comprises: 1. Cover sheet, on pre printed form, filled out in light black ink and with pencil notations giving a sum of L28/9/6 and L30/0/0 (settlement figure?). Pinned with a brass clip to the cover sheet, which is in poor condition at edges is a handwritten sheet giving particulars of the demand and other details. 2. Copy of Interrogatories for the demands - three sheets of typed paper, pinned together to a typed cover sheet with a brass clip. Dated 15/4/1901 and signed by the W.E. Johnston, Deputy Judge. 3. Copy of handwritten statement by a person (a doctor?) who called on Mrs. Nankervis to assess her condition and circumstances - dated 28/3/1901. 4. Copy of handwritten letter from T. Anderson Robertson (Barrister and Solicitor) of Lydiard St. Ballarat, dated 27/2/1901 to the Chairman and Directors of the Ballarat Tramway Co. Ltd. advising them of the accident and seeking compensation. 5. Letter as for item 4, but dated 18/3/1901 detailing the accident and seeking L50. (50 pounds) settlement. - three separate sheets - handwritten letter. In the cataloguing sheet is an e-mail from Alan Bradley outlining how the documents were obtained.
