Has value of tickets up to 7d, parcel tickets of 4d. Gives the opening and closing number of tickets or checks issued to the conductor, check returned by conductor, total number issued, value, returned by conductor, cash returned, Prepared in L (pound), shilling and pence format, or notes, silver and copper. Used in during the mid 1950's. Has space for hospital vouchers and area where signed by conductor. Printed on off white paper. Has form number TYE 1-280. Two copies held. On the rear of one sheet has written ink ticket denominations issues from 28/2/1963 to 1/1/1969 - seven different series, though first have then been crossed out. Repeat on second sheet. Gives value of tickets issued, including scholars and parcel tickets. 3046.2 - Lined foolscap sheet - hand written notes on fares up till June 1958, then through to 1/2/1969 - 6 different fare schedules. Dated on cover 1917. Agreement dated 28/7/1919 to apply from 2/12/1916 to 2/12/1918, Defines track repairers, ropeman, gripman and students. Details work hours, meals, time between shifts, payment for wase work (running between one line and another), Sunday sheets, overtime rates, call back, overtime, holidays, payment for 'sleeping in office', passes, uniforms, seniority, misconduct, Board of Reference and penalties. Colour print of Richard Gilbert and Bill Kingsley taken in front of a bogie truck tram at the Gardens Loop (not sign on the pole behind the tram), along with ladies. The lady in the middle, Mrs. Lock donated the photograph to the Museum on 27/8/2005 - to John Clowes. Photo taken soon after opening either late 1974 or early 1975. Printed colour postcard titled "City Hall and Shoppers Square Ballarat". Has an inbound tram showing the Grenville St sign on the rear, and one of the crossbench cars loading passengers outside the Town Hall. Shows Snows building, people in the median strip - busy holiday or a Sunday. Images of the front and back of the card and a close-up of the two trams in the bottom left-hand corner. Note the lamp or coloured destination sign on the roof of the inbound tram. On the rear, the postcard has been divided into two with the words "Post Card" and "Printed in Great Britain" on the top, a "Valentine Series" on the side. Addressed to Miss J Johnstone, 30 Weighbridge St, Flemington, and with the words "Dear Jeannie, / How do you like this one. / Maggie".
