This school case was the type of case carried to school by thousands of children growing up in the early to mid 1900's. It was used by the Orbost Municipal BandThis case was used by the Orbost Municipal Band when they travelled to Kew to compete in the Australian National Band Championships in 1978.A brown "Globite" cardboard school case with brown-painted metal handle, two plated spring-loaded metal locking fasteners an internal metal frame and eight external metal corners for reinforcing.
