ticketDemonstrates the Fare Concession Certificate provided by the State of Victoria for eligible passengers on the Victorian Public transport networks.PENSIONER'S FARE CONCESSION CERTIFICATE - Three tickets indicating that the holder of the ticket is entitled to a concession on Victorian Railways, Melbourne and Metropolitan tramways board buses and the Provincial Tramways of Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong. The certificates, printed on colored cared with black ink, show the regulations for use and restrictions on the time of travel. The reverse has a space to record the details of the user, and their signature. Ephemera - Ticket, Electric Supply Co of Vic. (ESCo), Pensioners Fare Concession Ticket and Hospital Travel Voucher
Gives an understanding of the variety of special purpose tickets issued by the Electric Supply Company for use on the Provincial Tramways of Victoria.The Pensioner's Fare Concession Certificate is for the year 64-65. Printed on tan colored card, with black print. It notes Restrictions on the time of travel. The reverse gives additional information about the ticket, including the expiry date. There is a space for the ticket-holder's signature. The Hospital travel voucher is printed on white card with black ink. It is issued by the Electricity supply Department for use on Provincial Trams. The ticket is not transferable. This appears to be a sample and shows that the 2d ticket as shown can be altered in value to 3d,4d,5d,6d or 7d. The Pensioner's Fare Concession Certificate has the word "Cancelled" stamped in red ink across both face and back. The Hospital Travel Voucher has "Issued to Base hospitals Ben & Bal who issue to pensioners. Collected by SEC. Charged to Health Dept". Gives an understanding of the variety of special purpose tickets issued by the Electric Supply Company for use on the Provincial Tramways of Victoria.The Newspaper Package Ticket is issued by the Electricity Supply Department of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria for use on the Provincial Tramways. The 3d Parcel Check, and 4d Parcel Ticket, issued by the same body, allow for the carriage of packages not exceeding 28lb, from their point of being handed to the conductor, to the depot. The tickets detail the requirements of use, and a statement protecting the commission from liability. the tickets are all printed in red ink on a cream/ beige paper.Some of the tickets are stamped with the word Cancelled. Some of the tickets are printed with an original number. A Weller-Ash nitrous oxide apparatus that has been sectioned, complete with a brown fabric Cattlin's rebreather bag, stopcock, rubber tubing, and celluloid mask, on an iron stand that has been decorated with a natural, gold-coloured leaf motif. The base of the stand is black, and has a brown foot pedal which controlled gas flow to fill the bag. Machine - McKesson Nargraf Machine, McKesson Appliance Co, c. 1930
The McKesson Nargraf machine is affixed to a four-legged metal stand with castors. The head of the machine has two reduced pressure gauges on top: one each for oxygen and nitrous oxide. Below each pressure gauge is a cylindrical drum, where the green-painted faces are directed outwards. There is a pressure control valve with a dial on top of the machine between the two pressure gauges, and a large mixing valve in the centre of the machine head that regulates the proportions of oxygen and nitrous oxide. The apparatus sits on a four-legged stand with castors. There is a fabric mesh bag affixed to the top of the apparatus which hangs down half the length of the stand. There are two metal arms protruding out from halfway down the length of the stand; one of the arms has a rubber tube attached to it and the other has a fine braided rope, both of which connect to the top of the apparatus.
