Journal or ticket record wallet, consisting of two very heavy and hard pieces of leather joined by a sewn (red cotton) lighter piece of leather to form foldable wallet. The outside covers have been polished. A brass plate "B 40" has been riveted to the cover and the letter "B" stamped above the brass plate. In winter it was too muddy for passengers in cars to travel all the way to Lorne so a horse drawn coach was used to travel to Clarke's where it met the service coach from Geelong. Federal member, Frank Davis carries the torch to light the combined Briar Hill and Diamond Valley Hospital bonfire. Hot oil from the torch ran down the torch and lodged in Frank Davis' sleeve whilst carrying the torch.
