Joe Czynski was an electrician who made contact with the American Science Fiction (SF) editor Hugo Gernsback while undertaking his electrical apprenticeship in Chicago, USA. Some of Czynski's short stories were subsequently published in the SF periodical Amazing Stories in the 1920s and 1930s. He admitted to using a number of pseudonyms in Amazing Stories, but only acknowledged one, H. M. Crimp. On his return to Australia, Czynski's career as an electrician took precedence over his SF writing. He worked for some time on the Woomera rocket range and was an active member of the Ballarat Astronomical Society. (Austlit) In 1958 Joe Czynski was Secretary of the Ballarat Debating Association, and describes is electrical business as 'Ballarat Olympic Electricians'Correspondence on green letterhead for S.J. Czynski, registered electrical contractor. The letter relates to the Ballarat Debating Association of which Joe Czynski was the secretary. Love So Amazing, a 184 page book with sixteen chapters and index. A History of the Parish of St. Agnes Glen Huntly 1888-1993 by Neville Drummond. The chapters document parishioners, events, festivals, church fellowship groups and numerous sports clubs and choirs. It is also a time capsule of interesting facts of Melbourne and particularly of Caulfield. There are various photos including ones of many of the Reverends. There is also a list of gifts and memorials. Part Two includes: Purim; Yom Haatzmaut; a series of images showing Felicita Jekoel emissary addressing Bialik students on her amazing story of the exodus of Albanian Hews from Albania. Alan Sartori became an artist in 1974, moving from Greensborough to live and have his studio at Diamond Creek, 100 Iron bark Road; he also wrote a book "Alan Sartori's Stories" in 1992.
