Aime Louis Ruedin (1847- 5/6/1896) was the son of Swiss immigrants Louis and his wife Catherine Schiener. Aime married Johanna Haemsen (1850 - 1909). in 1870. They planted extensive vineyards at Huntly and supplemented their income by selling fruit from their orchards. They had 7 children. In May 1903, fire began in the Ruedin home and spread to the winery. The disused cottage was owned by Alec Lloyd who was the fruiterer in Sunbury. It was situated on a sheep run on the Diggers Rest-Toolern Vale Road and was destroyed by fire in the early 1990's.A coloured photograph of a weatherboard farm cottage in a paddock with tall gum trees behind the house.
