As William is approximately 6 years old here, this would date the image at c1888. Thus the headmaster at the time was probably Geo. Clarkson (1887-1891). Miss Milne was the lady teacher. The other two boys marked with a cross in the front row are Dave Nicol on the left and Bert Roberts. The other boy marked with a cross in the body of the picture is M Murrell.
