Photo shows the view looking southwest from the Post Office towards the Town Hall. Two trams are in the view including the National Mutual building, the Town Hall, and Myer. Wal Jack in a note to Ken Magor of Newcastle notes the trams (No. 26 and a bogie), tram services, the ESCo fuse box, the tram waiting shelter, and that the location is known as "City Tram Centre". Wal has dated the photo as 1948.
