Set of 9 colour laser printed images of a Bendigo Tramways (SEC), ticket manual or ticket instruction sheets issued by the SEC c1937. Details the methodology of the ticketing system. Original sheets in poor order forwarded to Bendigo Tramways June 2005, contained within Zetta Florence foolscap size polypropylene enclosures, along with a set of the colour laser prints. Demonstrates aspects of the SEC tramway governance system in requiring sales of tickets to be monitored - balancing cash received against tickets issue, sold and returned. Issued to crews and then checked by clerks. The last Revenue Journal printed - fares as the system closed in 9/1971 in Ballarat.Printed form titled "Revenue Journal", for recording the value of tickets sold by Conductors. Headed - "Provincial Tramways". Has value of tickets up to 18c, parcel tickets of 13c. Set of three SEC Parcel Tickets. Two part printed and perforated ticket, using red or orange ink on white paper with a gummed back. 3073.1 - 6d ticket - A46756 - red ink - used 1963 to 1965 3073.2 - 8c ticket - A005643 - orange ink - used 1965 to 1966 3073.3 - 10c ticket - A012401- red ink - used 1966 to 1969 The upper portion has a gummed strip on the rear, with price and ticket number printed onto the lower edge. The lower portion was retained by the sender, was to be initialled by the conductor, organisation name, "Parcel Ticket 13c", conditions of use, ticket number and a space where to be initialled by the conductor. Demonstrates aspects of the way the SEC reinforced a particular rule - rule 10A - intoxication - to employees by printing a special supplementary sheet and expanding on the rule itself.Single sheet of duplicated paper, titled "Special Order 66/1" in addition to the Rules Governing Employees, dated 9/1964 (See Reg, Item 3117). Given as Rule 10A, gave instructions regarding intoxicating liquor; alcohol, drinking on the job, entering hotels etc. Prepared by LGD (Les Denmead) and signed by F. K. White as Manager.
