The embossing reads: 'This Land is Auriferous and Subject to Mining Conditions.' The sign is very rusted and there is no trace of the original paintwork. A handwritten note with the sign reads: 'This sign was found covered by grass and eucalyptus leaves etc., at the side of the road leading past the Eucy.
