This is a bag trolley that was used to transport large bags of grain or other items at the mill.Wooden frame of trolley, with vertical handles with three stabilising cross bars. Base of trolley has a curved metal part. This mounted on two small metal wheels. -

Used to drive the belt for machines.A long shaft with five wheels of varying height attached to it. The largest wheel has six spokes, the second to last in size has five curved spokes. One wheel is made of hard rubber. The shaft extends beyond the largest wheel, where it has a big bolt. The shaft extends an inch or two beyond the wheel at the other end. All wheels are bolted on. -

Gives a brief history of the electric tramway operated by the Victorian Railways between St. Kilda Station and the Brighton Beach railway station, that commenced operation in 1905. The booklet was priced 2/-, published by the Traction Publications. Has 18 photographs, map 1905 and present day (when printed), rolling stock roster and notes and on the rear cover has details of the AETA. Front cover has horizontal crimson stripes. Has details of the AETA on the back cover and listing of some publications. Newspaper Clipping undated from an unknown newspaper about the operation of a horse tram on the South Melbourne Football ground loop during the Moomba Festival. Noted the tram has been restored in the colours of the Royal Park (Zoo) line. Has a photo of a horse drawn tram with two horses and conductor, and family dressed in either period costume or a reproduction of a very old photograph. On the rear of the Newspaper is an item about people trying to save the horses that pulled the garbage trucks in the City of Port Melbourne. This probably dates the Clipping to the mid 1950's.
