There is a large sign on the roof which reads RESTAURANT. A brown coloured car with a white roof, dark bonnet and towing a trailer is facing toward the photographer. A man is getting the driver's side. A lighter coloured car is facing away from the photographer and a man is beside this car. There is a white Toyota utility parked on the right hand side of the roadhouse in front of the ice storage. There is a small sign for ESSO on the roof edge and a freestanding sign for ESSO close to the entrance to the roadhouse. Built in 1868 for Boarding House. Added to in 1887 - 88. Sold when Robert Anderson's second wife died. Several owners but came back into the family with Grandson Stan Anderson. Sold again when Stan died. Glen Isla now owned by Mr & Mrs Lunn who have restored it to its present condition. Now owned by Mr & Mrs Baker - 2018.House built in 1868, to become a Boarding House. A 2-story weatherboard building with brick chimney and filials at each point of gabled roof. Long windows. Attached at back and far side 2 single story joined gable roof buildings and adjoining wooden lattice building. Back yard white picket fence. 5 Figures out front. Two colour photographs showing a log cabin amongst trees. It was owned by the Edebohls family. The walls are made of logs, the gable ends have wooden shingles, and there is a more recent tin roof with the original shingle roof underneath the tin. There is a verandah on the downhill side of the house. Trees surround the house. The house is opposite Kerrs Park and is believed to be the oldest house left in Narre Warren East.

Donated to Museum by an autistic young man, who as a boy would play at the museum toy tram tables. He donated it so that other young boys could play with it. Ha a strong association with the donorToy Tram in style of a Japanese tram, with 'friction' motor. Is dark green in colour with a wide cream band around windows; grey roof; silver pantograph; grey wheels; black chassis. Has eyes on front that move from side to side. A check of the electoral rolls points to this being the home of Frederick Harry Percival Lamble, labourer, born in Collingwood. He and his family continued to live at 87 Essex Road until his death in 1968 and his occupation is consistently given as labourer. His wife Bessie Louisa Woods died in 1957.Black and white photo taken from the street of an Edwardian style timber house with 2 chimneys, one of which looks like a kitchen or laundry chimney. The house stands behind a white wooden picket fence in a mature garden which conceals the bull-nose verandah. The house appears to have a slate roof with galvanised capping. Robert and Ada Zull built an Alistair Knox designed house at 2 (lot 8) Metery Road, Eltham, a one acre property for their family of five in the mid 1960s. This series of photographs shows the one story house with its roof in place. Susan Bennett, nee Zull's reminiscences are published in EDHS Newsletter, February and April 2020. "..The block was big.. Building the house was slow going...the house had a concrete floor and a roof, but no windows..."This series of photographs together with the account of personal remiscences provide a unique document of the construction of an Alistair Knox designed home. Woolamai House was built in approx 1869 on part of Capt Cleeland's property which covered most of the eastern end of Phillip Island.
