Features a cross bench tramcar, 19 or 20, passing the front of the store with its blinds drawn, and many flags, advertisements and banners, including the Australian flag. Souvenir - Teaspoon, Perfection Plate, BTPS Teaspoon - tram 27, 1980's
... , with the tram in a picture 15mm diameter. The teaspoon is marked "Cameo ...Souvenir Teaspoon featuring Ballarat tram No. 27 in an inset at the top of the tea spoon, contained within a plastic case. The teaspoon made by Perfection Plate, of the Cameo style or type. The case has yellow plastic base, with clear top, marked "Cameo" On the rear of the case is the wording "Perfection". On the top of the case at the base in white printing "Silver plated / Made in Australia" The teaspoon is silver plated, with the tram in a picture 15mm diameter. The teaspoon is marked "Cameo" on the rear. Tea spoon is 112mm long x 25mm wide. Case is 125mm high, 32mm wide, by 16mm deep. Made early 1980's. Gives details of the tram timetables, for the afternoon, train departure times, lunch arrangements and notes on bus and tram running if peak loads encountered. 2nd copy ex Peter Winspur, added 11/1/2007. 2. Forty two page book with red covers, titled "The Picturesque Folio of Ballarat - 'The Modern Athens". Sheets have been individually printed both sides, stapled and then glued to the covers. Cover - gives title and printer details First sheet - with a greetings sheet for Good wishes and seasons greetings. Has a printed date of 1905. See Inscriptions. Dated 22/11/1904. Pages 3 - 10 - a historical sketch of Ballarat, compiled by Lieut-Colonel R. W. Williams V.D. Pages 12 - 41 - photos of Ballarat and district - such as: Sturt St The Lakes Post Office - note the trams clock board - taken at corner of Lydiard and Sturt Streets, looking east.
