The 2005 Emerging Writers' Festival was the second EWF. The festival was held at the Victoria Hotel in Melbourne in May, 2005. James Armytage lived at Tirkeith, Winchelsea around 1903. He was born in 1866. His was the son of Feliz Armytage, and the grandson of George Armytage (one of Victoria's early colonists.
