Date between 1924 and 1928 (based on photograph of Pengelly tramcar arriving and recently received, secondhand Melbourne tramcar). Timetable board for Camberwell Junction Batman Ave route 70, detailing times that services were scheduled to depart the Junction. Inside gives issue details - issued to a person in Glen Iris, four sections, for use during 1962, from Camberwell Junction to the Methodists Ladies College in Barkers Road Cost 44/- Ticket No. 5125 and 5602. Report titled "Melbourne Cable Tramways - Details of Construction and Operation of the Power Houses and Track". Compiled by William R. Pollock, MMTB Power House Superintendent. Report not dated, possibly late to mid 1930's. Consists of 12 pages of notes on the power house, cable operation and repairs, the grip and other aspects of operation, along with 26 appendices of drawings of equipment and parts of the cable tram system. Published by the MMTB. Circular C 7055, dated 31/5/1951 details the introduction of Ultimate ticket machines by the MMTB, commencing 4 June and their use at some tram safety zones and bus stops in the City area. Details their use, day codes, checking of the tickets by tram conductors, and fares and how many tickets are issued for each fare - for example for a 2d fare, two 1d tickets would be issued. Has example tickets for 7 different fares using 5 different tickets or combinations. Circular C 7150, dated 10/10/1951 advising changes to the tickets issued resulting from an increased fare charge that commenced on 21/10. Shows a 9d ticket instead of a 5d and notes that the 9d is temporary. Document produced by the MMTB for the information of Traffic Officers and Employees in Jan. 1958 - contains a reprint of the Victorian Road Traffic Regulations detailings the road rules. Extracted from the Jan. 1958 issue of Royal Auto Journal by the RACV. Section 13 details the regulations for passing stationary trams and safety zones. Trams in Swanston St did not run between LaTrobe St and City Roads and cross streets stopped before Swanston St or were diverted by LaTrobe St. Buses were also affected. Notice to traffic staff dated 19/1/1955, Kew Depot about not punching of the Bundy Clock at Victoria Bridge during the AM peak as a temporary measure. Trams that shunted at this location were required to record the clock. This is possibly as the result of an incident at this location with motor car traffic and the difficulty to access the clock in heavy traffic.
