Album comprises heavy cardboard covers with brown Rexene covers, with inside papers of heavy dark grey photo album paper, 36 leaves of dark grey photo paper and two brass interscrews within black grommets. See Condition Details re damage to back cover. Album contains 32 photos - personal prints of Keith Kings. Title page has been hand written to Les Denmead, dated 6/7/1970, thanking Mr. Denmead for his assistance over the years. Photos divided into the three SEC Provincial Tramway cities, each with a typed name proceeding the set of photos. Two further photos of Geelong were at the rear of the album, but were not in position when catalogued. One of these photos may be Reg. Item 1874 - photo of Geelong scrubber tram. Each of the photographs have been separately registered, as shown in the table below. Scanned images made of front and back of the photos. Scrap Book - with printed cardboard covers - titled scrap book on outside and reproductions of newspaper clippings printed onto covers, 64 pages off white paper. Scrap book compiled by Neville Gower from Nov. 1992 to June 1997. Primarily consists of newspaper clippings glued to the pages involving the Ballarat Tramway Museum. Also contained are other items of relevant interest, such as BTM brochures. Pages number in pencil by Warren Doubleday 2/2001. Where relevant some items contained in this book have been separately catalogued to enable easier reference. Some items were already in the collection and are thereby reference with their registered number. Also contains registered items 1659, 1654 and 1655. Yields information about the style and printing of tickets used in Ballarat and Bendigo tramways and how they were presented.Block of 25 No. 13 cent Parcel Tickets. Two part printed ticket, using sepia ink on white paper with a gummed back, stapled with a single staple at the top onto a cardboard sheet. Ticket Nos. A007001 to A007025 The ticket butt or top portion has the form number "TYE 3-590". The second or middle portion was to be affixed to the parcel to be carried. It has the name of the organisation (SECV), "Parcel Ticket 13c", conditions of carriage and ticket number, prefixed with the letter A. The lower portion was retained by the sender, was to be initialled by the conductor, organisation name, "Parcel Ticket 13c", conditions of use, ticket number and a space where to be initialled by the conductor. Yields information about one of the first two maximum traction bogie trams in Ballarat in October 1945 after it had been repainted for use in Ballarat by the SEC and the Lake / depot area at the time.Black and white photograph of SEC No. 15 in Wendouree Parade just to the south of St. Aidans Drive. Photo taken looking south with the trolley pole to the camera in the raised position. Appears to be a new trolley rope. Tram has destination of "Gardens via Drummond Nth". Possibly taken soon after receipt and repainting in Ballarat in 1945. "The Ballarat Tramways" notes that No. 15 arrived in Ballarat October 1945 and was renumbered to No. 36 in 1953. Black & White photograph (reproduction) of Electric Supply Co. (ESCo) tram no. 13 near tram depot, Wendouree Parade, c1905. Photo made from a copy negative of an original held in the Archives. Tram not yet fitted with destination boxes. On front of tram is a driver, possibly an inspector by the ground, at rear is a conductor, two ladies seated on rear end and a gentleman on the front seat.
