Hawthorn Tramways Trust form No. 95, recording the work done on the reconstruction of the HTT track for the week ending. The card has been marked up in ink for changes to the layout, at the time of the takeover of the Trust by the MMTB and the formation of the Eastern System. Coloured bas-relief photograph of Queen Alexandra. Dark background. She is wearing a formal gown, coloured pink with yellow off the shoulder neckline, white elbow length gloves and carrying a yellow closed fan. The pattern on her gown has been glittered in various colours, along with her snake head bracelet, tiara and choker jewellery. There is an 8mm border along the bottom and a 3mm border along the sides and top. On the bottom border on the left hand side is printed 667 A, in the middle the words H.M. Queen Alexandra and on the right hand side J Beagles & Co E.C. The postcard has been stuck to another piece of card of equal size. On the reverse at the top appears the printed words Portrait Bas-Relief Card The J.B. & Co Series. The card is addressed to Miss I Dean "Esmond" McKenzie Street Golden Square. Set up by the Education Department in 1915, students undertook to make money by their personal efforts. It was then donated to the Patriotic Fund in support of WW1 soldiers. When a student had earnt 1 pound they received a certificate from the Education Department.Young Workers' Patriotic Guild Members Contribution Card. Red card with black print no: 30621. The logo is a bee in a circle with EVD at the top and Young Workers Patriotic Guild in a banner inside the circle. Name and number of the school is 1317 Leichardt. The member is Frank Robbins and the first entry on the card is 1916 July. The entry is -carrying milk to bricklayer's 2/6 . August entry - saying recitation well 1/. Has section numbers on sides. .3 - Restricted Weekday Ticket or Voucher, Nos. A155134, printed in red on manila coloured card. Was available for a single journey on any MMTB tram and bus and allowed a ticket to be obtained at any station for a single VicRail, metro journey. Part of a longer strip of tickets. Tramway Inspectors table holder - two sheets of Perspex with a ruled card between them held with an elastic or rubber band. Use by Inspectors to hold headway cards which they hand wrote out to suit themselves and their method of monitoring services. Inspector's would use a soft pencil on the Perspex sheet to mark off the services as they past their monitoring point. Normally the card would be used to note the suburban terminus departure time, city arrival time, their monitoring point, eg a junction, and other major points. They could also record crew change overs for meals and with other trams on them and what runs their next did. BHS CollectionHanro Stand Alone Counter Display Picture: A coloured picture of two men on the golf course playing golf modelling Hanro knitwear. One has on a beige long sleeve V necked cardigan. The pockets on either side have a pleat in the centre and a band at the top. The garment has a small vertical brown stripe running through out the fabric, it is buttoned up with five brown buttons. The other is a yellow V necked vest. The Vest is knitted in a small cable pattern with knit bands around the neck and arms. At the bottom on the picture is a label with white background and *Hanro in red and black print and Knitwear for men*. The very bottom printed in yellow is *'The Quality Is A Proud Tradition. The material for the front is plastic covered card. The back is green tin. A brown card rectangular strip used for a stand and has two metal holes with string attached. Small folded printed card with details of the Installation of Brother Douglas William Nisbet to the position of Master of the Lodge of Honour, Frankston, Victoria, Australia for the period 1965-1966. The installation of Br D W Nisbet and Investiture of Officers took place at the Masonic Temple, Frankston on Wednesday, 3rd November, 1965. The card has the List of Officers, the Order of Service and a List of Past Masters. This lodge was formed by ex-servicemen who were members of the Frankston RSL Sub Branch in or around 1951. Membership of this lodge was for ex-servicemen who were also interested in being a member of the Freemasons.

Joseph Jordan was born in 1841 in Leicester England and spent over a decade in India with his regiment. In 1867 he gained first prize for his views of Indian scenery. He followed the same profession when he came to Victoria in 1884 and set up a professional photographic studio in Warrnambool He became very well known in the Western District for family photographs as well as official photographs of local councillors and groups as well as views of local scenery. This album is one which was advertised in 1901. Of the two albums in the collection they seem to consist of a core number of the same photographs with others included in the selection. The business was taken over by his son Arthur around 1917. This album includes a number of professionally taken photographs which give a high quality view of Warrnambool and the popular spots around the district at the turn of the century.Faded Maroon cloth over card cover with title in gold lettering on front cover. Advertisements for local businesses inside front and back covers. The album contains a number of black and white photographs from around Warrnambool, including the Titan crane at the Breakwater, banks of the Hopkins, Stephens Coachbuilders, Grand Annual Show, panorama of Warrnambool and Suspension Bridge on the Merri.
