Model of Bendigo bogie, ex Hawthorn Tramways Trust, four centre doorways, tram, No. 23 in a SEC colour scheme with the destination of Quarry Hill. The Modeller has detailed the seats throughout the tram and the controls. Balsa wheels had broken off, repaired with 'O' gauge wheels along with other parts by the Museum's model builder.Demonstrates model tram building. One of a series of Ballarat and Bendigo tram models. It was owned by Wandin Sebire. It is thought that early rocking chairs were designed as a means of helping busy mothers rock their babies on their laps while keeping their hands free for other household chores such as knitting or sewing chores. They could use their legs and back to create the rocking motion instead o holding them and swaying side to side. An elaborate turned wooden framed rocking chair with spring 'rockers'. It has a brown and cream swirled patterned fabric seat and back panel as well as on the turned arm rests. This is attached with antique upholstery tacks.There is a castor on each of the four legs for manoeuvrability. It is an unusual rocking chair in that the rockers and the seat, sit on top of the wooden frame with the legs on castors below.rocking chairs, chairs, furniture

Some pieces depict animals, others are letters which can be combined on a plastic backing piece to form a custom-made stamp. Dr. Joseph Clover (1825-1882), an English physician, first described his Portable Regulating Ether Inhaler on Jan. 20, 1877. Clover was an especially sought after anesthesiologist and early pioneer in the specialty. This was the best-known of many inhalers that Clover designed. The dome-shaped reservoir was turned to points on a control dial to gradually increase or decrease the percentage of the air that passed over the ether. Several inventors based new inhalers on this, while the original continued to be manufactured as late as the beginning of WWII. This sconce - wall mounted candle holder or light fixture is simple / basic without any decoration. It was able to swivel. It may have been used on either the interior o exterior walls of buildings. The light is usually, but not always, directed upwards and outwards, rather than down. The long bracket kept the candle a safe distance from the wall and ceiling.This sconce was used by a resident of the Kiewa Valley.Shiny metal rod with candle holder at one end and a small thin rod at the other for attaching to a device on a wall.
