Actiergesellschaft fur Anilinfabrikation was founded as a dye company in 1867 at Rummelsburger See near Berlin and evolved to become the AGFA film company.

Physical description

Thick dark brown glass rectangular shaped bottle with text in German and trademark embossed onto the glass

Inscriptions & markings

Trade mark consists of a bear 'rampant' over a shield. 'ACTIERGESELLSCHAFT FUR ANILINFABRIKATION BERLIN S. O.' contained in a cartouche on the side of the bottle. Translation 'Corporation for Aniline Manufacture'.
