Newspaper clipping from the letters to the Editor Section of The Courier, Ballarat, dated about 19/8/1971. The first letter, signed by "All Het Up" pleading for the trams to be retained on a limited route serving Sovereign Hill and the Gardens and noting the tourist potential of such a tram line. A Second letter supports the retention of the trams by the BTPS in Wendouree Parade. Letter is unsigned - may not have been cut out properly. Notes the preservation of a street tramway in Montevideo.
