Newspaper Clipping - from The Sun? 18/11/1935? about the first electric tram in Elizabeth St - shows tram 744 running as Special at the Flinders St terminus with the station in the background. Notes the tram was carrying tramways official on a trial run and that regular services commenced yesterday afternoon. Timeline books show it was opened on 17/11/1935, a Sunday.
