Years 1 & 2 have classes in English - 5 hours; Social Studies which covers History and Civics and Geography - 4 hours; Art which covers Model Drawing, Plant Forms, Lettering and Geometrical Drawing - 6 hours; Needlecrafts which covers Plain and Decorative Needlework, Dressmaking, Millinery - 6 hours; Homecrafts which covers Cookery, Laundry, Housewifery - 4 hours; Horticulture or Special approved subjects - 2 hours; Sports, Physical Drill and Singing - 4 hours.
