Cable tram dummy is loaded with gentlemen and there is a paper boy in front of the trailer. Print mounted onto a wooden chip board and sealed with brown tape around the edges. Two screwed frame hanging supports on either side with one run of string between them. Frame - brown and gold with a buff and black line framed around the photograph. No notification to the SEC, underground services, and the absence of advice from traffic crews. Greetings card with a photo of Swanston St looking south from Collins St. On the left side of the photo is a cable tram signal shelter with a signal man at the levers. A St Kilda tram is southbound. Image prior to the construction of Flinders St station building. The Water Tower clock is visible at Princes Bridge Station - see reference. It was moved from Elizabeth St to Princes Bridge in 1902. Photograph of vacant tramcar wash road facility, presumably at Kew Depot. Three W2 class trams are partially shown on adjacent roads, one displaying route number 47 (City to Kew Depot). Several semi-circular windows are shown high on the rear wall. Along both sides of the vacant road are narrow 40 cm wide platforms approx 60 cms above the car shed floor with safety rails attached. An open pit sits between the two platforms. A water hose pipe appears in the foreground and all surfaces appear wet. With a tram was positioned between these platforms, part of the platform could be swung across the front of the tram to facilitate its washing.
