Note by T.H. Kneen," After the transfer of the small dairy herd to Glenormiston and later Longerenong the milking shed was modified to serve as a machinery shop. Late in 1990 and early in 1991 it was converted for use as the Horticultural College Centenary Centre and as a new home for the Horticultural Shop. Half the space on ground floor level was devoted to a display "A Centenary of Horticultural Education." The old loft area was fitted out as the office for the Executive Officer for the Centenary Celebrations and the storage of archival material."
