Book of 10 All Day Tickets, numbered A000001 to A000010 printed for the Ballarat Tourist Tramway, contained within an off white front heavy paper (front cover) and off white card back cover sheet, with a two staples on the left hand side. Each ticket is from a light yellow card stock, printed with green ink showing the month of issue on the sides and date of issue (1 to 31) on the top or bottom. Each ticket is numbered and has a perforated left edge to enable it to be torn from the book. Ticket punched by the conductor to shown the month and date of issue. On all tickets, just to the under the staple is a vertical heavy green band. Used from late 1975 until March 1986. Item collected for archives on at time of issue. Collected for Archives 30/6/2004. Set of four pamphlets advising of changes to tram services for the installation of various trams stops or track works. .1 - "Route 70 service changes - Swan Street tramway works" - Hoddle St intersection - 3 fold DL - Feb. 2012. .2 - "Macarthur St tram stop 10" - super stop, known as an "Easy Stop" - gives a map of the stop and how it may be used. Single DL sheet on light card. .3 - "Tram route 86 Improvements - using tram stops 31 and 32" - gives a map of the stop and how it may be used. The garment and cap were made by Peg West for Robert. Peg was a former member of the historical society who lived at 10 Wattle Valley Road, Mitcham (1931 - 2009). She knitted many garments for family and friends. The wool was purchased by Barbara Gardiner for the jumper and cap for Robert.Man's dark grey with multi-coloured fleck wool hand knitted ribbed jumper and matching cap. The rib pattern is two knit two purl stitches. The garment is long sleeved with cuffs and a polo neck collar. The matching cap (beanie shape) has a twin back edge.costume, male, handcrafts, knitting

Some of the seven servicemen died and are remembered on the Byaduk war memorial- Wilfred Rentsch, William Thomas Harper, Stanley O Miller, Albert V Harper and Walter Kinghorn. Gladys wad born in Byaduk 1897 daughter to Joseph (Baker) and Agnes Holmes with sisters Vida and Una and brother Frank. She married Alexander George Anderson of Stawell in 1924. Archie McGillivray married Minnie Ramsay, the Scottish sister of a friend Ashley Ramsay.Primary documents sent to Byaduk residents from local friends serving overseas in WW!. The vacant land was the site of Norman Carter's future home at 21 Everton Grove. Norman Broadley Carter (1899-1984) married Mabel Annie Moore in 1927. Norman was an engineer with a passion for photography. Norman took many photos of Surrey Hills and Mont Albert from the 1920s and particularly of events and activities of the Church of England. For many years the house on the left located at 14 Harding Street belonged to the Kenneth Rothwell Culliton and his wife (Fanny) Molly Culliton. The house is located next to the Harding Street Reserve. Ken was an engineer and Molly was an early member of the Surrey Hills Historical Society. Ken was born and died in Surrey Hills. His father Harry Culliton was a well known golfer. His mother Christina Mary Rothwell was the daughter of Thomas Talbot Rothwell, known as a tea merchant and importer; also lived in Surrey Hills. This image is significant for its documentation of pre-urban Surrey Hills.Black and white photo of an area of gently sloping mown grass. On the rear are the conditions of travel for both types of tickets, The Met logos, Transport Information and Transit Patrol telephone numbers. Some of the tickets have a message, along with logos that The Met is supporting the bid for the Olympics in Melbourne 1996.
