Notes that his photo of Geelong 40 being loaded at the Geelong depot on 27-3-1956 was received in Ballarat the following day and that Pengelly 23 was the "workhorse" around the depot after closure. List of scrapped cars gives location as known by Bob at the time. The same sign was used for the same purpose in Melbourne. Has three holes for screws on the upstand or folded section. See item 9570 for a "HAIL CARS HERE" version.
