Note the map shows the Footscray system. Timetable issued by Osboldstone & Co. (OSBA) - gives a detailed description of the timetable, photographs, reproduces the various pages and gives a short history of the Melbourne Tramways and comments on some of the advertisements. Dates the timetable to 1917 based on an advert in the August 1917 issue of a The Victorian Naturalist. Report prepared by the Tramway Board, the intermediate body between the Melbourne Tramway and Omnibus Co. (MTOC) and the Melbourne and Metropolitan Tramways Board (MMTB), examining the status of the special work (points and crossings), curves, depot entry tracks and other worn tracks for wear. This report looks at the northern half of the cable system. Prepared May 1916 with a second inspection during July 1916. Provides detailed layout drawings of each junction, crossings with other cable lines, railway tracks, curves, depot entry, and locations where cable pick up points were - a "wiggle" in the track. Instruction book - dark red Rexene covers + 26 pages + 1 sheet which has been added after original publication, sewn with cotton thread into cover which was printed with gold blocking - titled "Electrical Distribution Branch - Instructions and Regulations". Page corners have been rounded. Produced by the MMTB Chief Engineer's Dept, mid 1920's? Provides guidance, rules, instructions for distribution employees in the management of sub-stations, safety. Includes reference to specific employees in the instructions and on the rear page has a single line diagram of Connections for Tramways Board supply from Angliss to Tramways Substation. Angliss was provided with power from, the VR Railways 20000V bus and has specific instructions in the document. Includes reference to Carlton Control. Document issued under the order of T.P. Strickland as Chief Engineer and has been issued to J. F. S. 1074.1 - Book or Manual, 20 pages + 6 "PTC Customer Services Revenue Maximisation" form + green card covers bound with a black plastic comb binder - titled "Ticket Checker's Manual - Met Ticket System". or ticketing manual. Has PTC and railway photo on front cover. Gives procedures, concession fares, Met Fare zones, colour coding of tickets, samples of tickets, including a used scratch card ticket (2 hour zone 2 concession) and a number of other tickets which have been stamped cancelled. Would appear that used tickets have been recycled for the publication, also has reproductions of concession cards. On page 19 gives information on free travel for police in uniform and conditions for bicycles, surfboards, prams etc, seeing eye dogs, pets and V/Line tickets. 1074.2 - 21 pages + 9 "PTC Customer Services Revenue Maximisation" form, yellow card covers bound with a black plastic comb binder - titled "Ticket Checker's Manual - Section 1 General Information", Section II, The Met, Section III Concession Cards - has a number of blank pages. Black plastic covered folder with yellow and green lines, with The Met logo and title "Met Fares and Ticketing Manual", four ring binder containing updates dating from June 1996 to May 1998 and details of the Met Ticketing system. Has content tabs for General Information, Met Fares, Authorised Concessions, Accompanied and Miscellaneous items tickets, concession cards, free travel passes and the conditions for the carriage of passengers. Main manual is 117 pages with maps and contacts with the various bus lines. Has approx. 90 pages of updates in the front of the main manual. The folder has the card for Ian Yarde, Manager Metropolitan Train Service Development on the front of the folder and the updates have been address to him as well. There is an index just before Tab 1.
