This file contains one item about the Caulfield RSL’s newsletter: 1/Five issues (nos. 26, 33, 35, 42, and 44) of Furfs, the official newsletter of the Caulfield RSL, dated 12/2000, 05/2004, 10/2005, 12/2007, and 11/2009 respectively. The issues vary in size (numbering 12, 6, 1, 8, and 8 pages, respectively) and consequently, in terms of breadth of content. Most, however, report on the Club’s recent activities, list the current administrative staff, eulogise recently deceased members, and contain advertisements for goods and services of interest to members. All except the shortest also contain numerous black-and-white photographs of members participating in various events. The bottom of this page is signed by Glenn Read, who purchased the book at Box Hill RSL on 22/4/18 for $79.99. Glenn then donated the book to Combined East Melbourne/Tramways RSL on 22/05/2018. P.4 is the forward by Doug Baird Father of Corporal Cameron Baird VC MG. Cameron was the 100th VC presented to an Australian Serviceman, for service in Afghanistan 2013 awarded posthumously. The back cover has a summary of the book contents and includes an acknowledgment of the contributions of Keith Payne VC AM KSJ in producing the book. Bottom of back cover is the Logo of Big Sky Publishing, TPI Association Badge who put the book together, A Bar code of ISBN 978-1-925520-98-9.

Framed and mounted collection of English World War 1 military metal unit insignia and unit names. There are a total of 70 various items (some duplication) mounted on a red velvet covered backing board of thick cardboard. Contained in a wooden cabinet complete with a hinged glass fronted door. The collection was the work of World War 1 English service man, ? Akeroyd, father of John Akeroyd, past President of Frankston RSL Sub Branch.

This unopened small bottle filled with port was produced to acknowledge the Sunbury Sub Branch of the Returned Services League of Australia's 70th Anniversary in 1993. The bottle has a short story of the Sunbury sub branch having been given official recognition on the 10th December 1923 by the RSL. Major William Alexander Morton D.S.O was the patron and also the first president of the Sunbury Sub Branch.Small cream with brown spots ceramic half size bottle with a black seal covering top of bottle the seal has a very small chip out of seal.
