This agreement between the Association for the Blind and Emma Irene Parkins lays out the terms and conditions of a fund-raising initiative to be driven by E.I. Parkins, with the aim of selling entry tokens for a "Name the Home" competition at 2 shillings apiece. The first prize was a Ford Falcon Sedan. The agreement is Dated 1st day of July 1962, but Signed and Dated by CEO J. W. Wilson and E. I. Parkins on 28/03/1962. Donation made on behalf of Surrey Hills Primary School. A second lesser copy was donated at a much earlier date.A 59 page informal history of Surrey Hills State School, No 2778. To quote the authors: "we have not used footnotes, nor a bibliography; and we have used reminiscence without always ensuring that facts and dates are strictly accurate." The Identification Disc (ID) are worn by soldiers on war like duties. Two disc are worn in such a manner that one can be removed from the necklace without dislodging the other. If a soldier is killed in battle and unlikely to be removed to a field mortuary or is buried in the field of battle, one disc is taken from necklace with the second disc remained with the with corps. The disc is stamped with the soldiers service number (VX11873); religion (C E - Church of England ) the Soldiers name and initials and Blood Group.
