This holster was copied by the Canadians from the British Pattern 1937 web equipment designed to hold the British .38 Calibre Enfield No.2 Mk 1 Revolver. Canada produced its own P37 webbing during WW2 and commenced production in 1940. Two companies produce the vast majority - Z L & T Ltd in Guelph, Ontario and M S & U Ltd (Montreal Suspender and Umbrella Manufacturing Company Limited) in Montreal, Quebec. A great deal of webbing was sent to Australia. These pistol cases saw much use by our troops during WW2 and holstered US Smith & Wesson 'Victory' model and various British Webley .38 revolvers in addition to Enfields.Khaki cotton webbing holster with press studded flap for a .38 calibre revolver. The 11 Pound Practice Bomb was used in Australia to train air crews both during and after WW2. When the bomb hit the ground it produced a smoke cloud so that the aircrew could see where their bomb had landed. There was only a small explosive charge in them. Cylindrical, finned steel bomb weighing approx. 11lb painted silver with three stripes (blue, yellow, red) painted around the mid-section. One attachment point/loop. Cast iron nose. None.

This was the "Order of service" for the inaugural unveiling of the WW2 Commando Cairn at Tidal River, Victoria. Lt General Sir Edmund Herring, Lt Governor of Victoria addressed the assembly, 2 Commando Company soldiers were the Guard of Honour, and the 4/19 PWLH Regt band played. This was the first official memorial to WW2 Commandos, located at Wilsons Promontory where the Commando units were first trained. A memorial ceremony is held in November each year since 1964. This is a WW2 Morse code Signalling Lamp B 5A/2334 in its original wooden box. Model of HMS Kashmir built by Shipwright Charles Axiak. He originally trained and worked in British dockyards during WW2. Emigrated to Australia in 1955 and finished working in Williamstown dockyards building the River Class Destroyers K Class Destroyers built in UK in 1930's.1. Model of K-class Destroyer UK.
