Foreign currency issued by Japanese Forces in WW2. Aim was to take economic control of countries occupied and to diminish western influences with these countries.

Physical description

One Gulden notes issued by Japanese Occupation. Four notes basically brown in colour. Cloud emblems on one side with No. 1 and other side a picture of fruit and nut trees. Has "De Japansche Regeering Betaalt AAN Tronder EEN GULDEN". Translated to "The Japanese Government Pays to Bearer One Gulden."
