He trained and completed post graduate studies at the Victorian College of the Arts, where he also completed his post graduate studies. Miller won the Archibald Prize in 1998 and has been a finalist seventeen times. This item is part of the Federation University Art Collection. The group is participating in a nature study.Nature study was a new subject introduced into the school curriculum throughout the English-speaking world in the 1890s and 1900s that taught students about the natural environment.
