Three .75 cm bands of brass metal - a shaped strip at top and bottom of the fabric, with a rectangular shaped clasp in the centre. These three clasps have decorative engraved patterns. The lower clasp- called a suspender, has a circular hook at the bottom, from which is suspended a circular brass fitting, holding a metal link, which is attached to a four sided shape, with letters in a circular shape - HTWSSTKS, Lodge symbols are on each side of this perspex shaped hanging. Clothing, khaki woollen WW2 army uniform jacket. Single breasted with four brown metal AMF buttons (2 cm). Two breast pockets, (16 X 18 cm) with fold over tabs. All button tabs fastened with 1.5 cm metal buttons. Long sleeves with stitched down cuffs with V shaped peak on upper side. Both sleeves lined with cream and blue striped cotton fabric. 30 cm split at centre back from hem. Button down epaulettes on each shoulder with three captain's pips and two black stripes. This military jacket is an Australian military Chaplain's jacket. It has three 'pips' on the epaulets. The four-sided "star" or "pip" has been used to designate officer rank in the British and Australian armies for many years and is a stylized version of the very elaborate star of the Knight Grand Cross of the military division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, one of Great Britain's four senior orders of knighthood. Aubrey Quick was a part-time Chaplain in the Royal Australian Airforce and received an Order of Australia for his pastoral care of the apprentices the RAAF.
